AN unclaimed Lottery win from a ticket bought in Blackpool has been donated to good causes after nobody claimed the prize.
Camelot has announced the £105,064 prize from the Lotto draw on Saturday August 8 last year has remained unclaimed for more than 180 days.

The money, plus the interest it earned, has now been given to charity.

The ticket holder – who matched five numbers and the bonus ball – bought the ticket in Blackpool but the deadline to claim the prize passed at 5.30pm on Thursday.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We tried very hard to find the ticket holder and it's a real shame that they have missed out, but there is still one winner – the nation."

Players only have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
