Walk bay for charity
Keen walkers are invited to join Queen’s Guide Cedric Robinson as he leads a nine-mile walk, to raise funds to support Galloway’s Society for the Blind.
People can join the fun on either Saturday, June 1, or Sunday, June 2. Both walks are from the promenade at Arnside, near Carnforth, finishing at Kents Bank near Grange three hours later.
Kevin Lonergan, walk organiser for Galloway’s said: “This is our 30th walk across the bay and the guide’s 50th year since he was appointed.”
Places are limited and return transport is on offer from Garstang, Preston and Lancaster.
