Barton Grange Garden Centre is taking part in the national Garden Releaf initiative to raise money for children’s hospices around the UK.
Garden Releaf is like Comic Relief but all about gardening, and the idea is to have some fun while raising money.
Barton Grange is hosting a Garden Releaf quiz night and hot pot supper on Tuesday, March 13, at 7pm at the Garden Centre, with teams of four invited to enter.
The quiz questions have been pre-recorded by celebrity gardeners like Alan Titchmarsh, and Barton Grange MD Guy Topping will oversee the evening.
All the money raised will be donated to Greenfingers, a national charity which raises money to create magical gardens for children’s hospices.
The prize is an overnight stay at the Barton Grange Hotel – dinner, bed and breakfast for two people – for every member of the winning team.
Tickets are £5 per person including hot pot. You can register a team at the garden centre tills, or by contacting Sue Swire on 01995 642932, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
