A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road collision on the A6 at Forton.
A car, driven by the man injured, collided with the rear of a bus during the the incident, which happened at 8.23am this morning (Monday, June 29).
A police spokeperson said the bus had stopped to pick up near the New Holly pub.
An ambulance was called and the man was taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary. Two passengers on the bus were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The A6 was closed following the incident, and is expected to remain closed for up to two hours.
