SHADOW Cabinet Minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi will be visiting Garstang at the weekend.
Baroness Warsi, one of the leading players in David Cameron's new-look Conservative Party is Shadow Cabinet Minister for Community Cohesion.
She is a regular participant in the popular BBC programme Question Time and acheived national prominence last year when she visited the Sudan to intervene in the case of the British schoolteacher who was imprisoned for encouraging her class of Sudanese children to name a Teddy Bear Allah.
Baroness Sayeeda Warsi is the guest speaker at Garstang Conservatives St Georges dinner on Saturday, April 26 at Garstang Golf Club.
She will be accompanied by Eric Ollerenshaw, Tory candidate for the new Lancaster and Fleetwood seat, who is also head of the Cities and Diversity department at Conservative Campaign Headquarters, Millbank, London.
