UPDATE: Scorton body is that of missing man

A BODY found in Scorton on Sunday is that of missing Poulton man David Thomson, it has been confirmed.
Police say the body found in a ditch in Six Arches Lane, Scorton, has now been identified as that of the 26-year-old, who had been missing from his home since January 16.
Police are currently treating Mr Thomson's death as unexplained. A post mortem is due to be carried out later on today (Monday).
Mr Thomson's body was found by a member of the public in the village at 12.45pm on Sunday.
Officers from the under water search unit attended the scene to help recover the body.
Friends and family of Mr Thomson's had been searching the area around Six Arches caravan park in Scorton for days, trying to find any trace of him after his Vauxhall Astra van was found abandoned in nearby Station Lane.
The last sighting of him was on CCTV near to the caravan park.
