Organisers of the first open day at Longridge firm Derek Fox & Sons Timber Ltd hailed it as a great event which they now hope to hold regularly.
A capacity turnout of customers old and new supported the raffle to raise £200 for Longridge Community Hospital, the cheque being presented later by office manager Barbara McCormick to ward manager Debbie Noblet (pictured). Barbara explained the main objective of the day was to promote the new improved chemical for the preservation of the firm’s timber. Buttylicious catered for the many customers. Derek had two of his vintage Foden wagons to display, and thanks went to everyone for their hard work and support.
