The farmers presented a cheque for £1458 to leukaemia and lymphoma research which was raised throughout last year from events such as their annual muck haul which was a great success and will be held again this spring. The rest of the money came from a dinner dance held by the club. Richard Moore club treasurer said: “The club has had a great year and encourages youngsters between 10 and 26 to join. Meetings are held at Bilsborrow village hall on Mondays at 7.30 pm.” For more details contact Chairman Richard Bradley on 07766120385.
