The Pressed Cider Festival returns to Bilsborrow for the eighth year this week when Owd Nell’s Canalside Tavern hosts a weekend focused on the art of cider making.

The festival at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet runs from Thursday, July 23, to Sunday 26 with a varied programme of cider and family fun events.

Cask cider tasting and traditional foods, along with a charity cider barrel dip will be available all weekend, and there will be live music with local band Donkey Vision and DJ Darrell Edwards.

This year’s festival is being held in conjunction with Brothers Cider from Somerset, Thatcher’s Cider based in Sandford in North Somerset, Stella Artois European Cidre, Kopparberg and Sweden’s Rekorderlig Scandinavian Ciders.
