Children from St Mary’s Primary School, Chipping went on a sponsored walk, raising funds for the Nepal Disaster Charity Fund.

With the school council representatives Annie, Chloe, and Bobby leading the way, the children set out on a five mile round trip, stopping off for a picnic lunch at Lee House Thornley.

At Lee House the children were met by Joe and Rosalba Howson and the younger children from school, who arrived by mini bus. The younger children had done a shorter route around Chipping village during the morning.

After picnic lunches the children had an hour to explore and play games. They raised the fantastic sum of £200.
