Police have uncovered a cannabis farm hidden within a disguised industrial unit as part of a drugs crackdown in Garstang
Officers found the “sophisticated” cannabis farm with more than 240 plants, at various stages of growth, and large bags of dried out cannabis bush ready for sale.
PC Dave Kerfoot said: “As part of the ongoing investigation in to the supply of cocaine and cannabis in the Garstang area we executed a search warrant.
“Found inside the unit was a hidden room with disguised access, which, when found and entered, revealed a sophisticated cannabis grow.”
Lancashire Police carried out a search on the unit in Poulton over the weekend of March 1.
A 46-year-old man, originally from the Liverpool area, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He is currently on police bail.
