As we are all aware, many of us are feeling the credit pinch as of late.

With these harder times making it more difficult for households and businesses to give to deserving and charitable causes, it is important for those who can, to dig a little deeper into their pockets to help out.

Recently, Dewhurst Homes, which has completed further expansion with a new branch in Fulwood, Preston, has taken on a further seven full time staff.

It is a company that is proud that it is expanding and creating jobs in this unstable climate and will hopefully have plans to be able to continue to do so in the near future.

However, this is not the only way it is helping out the community.

It is also becoming key players by proudly sponsoring the Preston North End Community Stand. Its efforts to support the community continue to reach out to something that Dewhurst Homes feels is of paramount importance to sustain.

Chris Dewhurst, managing director of Dewhurst Homes, has proudly agreed to support St. Catherine’s Hospice in anyway he can, offering his support as sponsor to many of the hospice’s future events.

Among them is the Moonlight Walk, to be held in Preston on Saturday May 26, where those involved will sportingly be wearing our “Get moving with” Dewhurst Homes sponsored T-shirts.

Entry forms can be obtained at all three of our branches - 8, Towneley Parade, Longridge, tel 01772 783993; Appleton House, 1-2 Rope Walk, Garstang, tel 01995 601814; or 347 Garstang Road, Fulwood, tel 01772 788811. The branches are open seven days a week and have late night openings. The highly trained and pro-active lettings and sales staff are motivated and waiting to help. All feedback is regularly reported to vendors. There is computerised property matching to active viewers across all three branches with texting and emailing of properties to buyers.
