A well-attended reindeer run by a school in Garstang has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Garstang Primary School pupils – all in red and wearing reindeer antlers – took part in the run to help raise money for Brian House Children’s Hospice.
More than 7,000 children took part across the Fylde coast and Shirley Morgan, communications manager for the hospice said: “The money is till being counted but it looks like it’ll be hundreds which is great. It’s a really fun event and we’re grateful Garstang chose to get involved.
“This is the second year of doing it and I know it’s a big ask to fit something like this in at Christmas.”
