Beautiful flowers in every shade of the rainbow have brightened up this dreary summer.
Despite the persistent rain Garstang is still picture perfect as chairman Alan Pearson’s new plans for Garstang in Bloom blossom.
And Alan thanked all of the volunteers who have helped nurture the bedding plants and joined in the big spring clean in the town.
He said: “The town has now been planted up and we would like to thank all our sponsors who have stayed with us during the changes.
“We must thank all the businesses who have made great efforts to improve the appearance of their premises and the Town.
“I travel throughout the North West and when I tell people where I am from many of them know the town and say what a nice place it is, so thanks to everyone.”
