Garstang residents, business owners and groups are being encouraged to contact Coun Lady Dulcie Atkins with ideas on how to give the town a boost through community projects.
Wyre Council has awarded £10,000 through its Shaping Your Neighbourhood initiative and local people can make bids for a share of the funding.
Coun Atkins is the project leader for the rural east scheme, covering Brock, Cabus, Calder, Catterall and the Garstang ward
The council is specifically looking for projects to address a local need, as identified in each of its locality plans.
Coun Peter Gibson, leader of Wyre Council, said: “Very often it’s little changes that make a huge difference to community life, so we’ve set aside this money specifically for projects just like this.
“Last year when we offered this funding there was a great response, so we’re looking forward to seeing what innovative ideas our communities come up with this time around.”
Projects that have benefited from previous funding include the Garstang gym extension, Barnacre Memorial Hall, Garstang Millenium Green and improvements to Kepple Lane playing fields.
Details of how to apply are available on the Wyre Council websitye at wyre.gov.uk/syn. Closing date is May 31.
