It wasn’t a bicycle made for two – it was a whopping great truck which got Rebecca Emmott to church on time for her wedding to Kevin Wells.
Rebecca, a receptionist at Bowland High School, married Kevin Wells, who works in his family firm of RJ and I Wells, at St Annes Church, Singleton.
The bridge is the daughter of Carolyn Simpson, of Higherford, and Richard Emmott, of Bradley.
The groom is the only son of Alan and Sue Wells, of Great Eccleston.
The bride was given away by her father, and the service was conducted by the Rev P Keighley.
Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Natacha Simpson, the groom’s sister Louise Wells, and Sammy Holmes.
Best man was Ben Godkin and the ushers were David Cook, Danny Wodoward and Jack Simpson.
A reception was held at the Singleton Lodge Country Hosue Hotel and the couple will honeymoon in Fuerteventura.
