Do you know this man?: CCTV from the petrol station

Police are appealing for information and have released CCTV images after a van was stolen from a pub car park in Garstang.

The van, which had been left in the car park of the Kings Arms on High Street, was stolen at around 6.45am on Monday, February 4.

The van which contained more than £3,000 of tools, was then spotted at a petrol station on the A6 at Churchtown shortly afterwards, at around 7am.

It was then driven towards Broughton. Police have released CCTV images of a man who they are looking to speak to in connection with the theft, and are appealing for information.

PC Rachel Bibby said: “I appeal to anybody who recognises this man, or who has any other information about this offence to come forward and contact us

“This theft has affected the victim’s business, leaving him in a position where he has to borrow tools and equipment in order to carry out his day to day business, and so we are very keen to do all we can to try and reunite him with his property.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting crime reference BC1300488.

People with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or-Crimestoppers-uk.org.
