Villages across the Wyre district were left under water after gale force winds battered the region last week.
Locally it was Knott End that felt the brunt of the storms, with winds of up to 80mph and extreme high tides wreaking havoc. Homes in Barton Avenue , were left flooded by seawater.
And there was widespread disruption on country roads both in Knott End and elsewhere in Wyre.
The A586 at Churchtown was left blocked after a large tree fell into the road.
Garstang Neighbourhood Policing team was also called out to Head Dyke Lane, Preesall, after a family trampoline was blown into the road, causing problems for passing motorists.
PC Dave Kerfoot said the team had endured a hectic day, but added: “Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt and we want to say thank you to everyone who stopped and helped.”
