Fleetwood’s art deco styled venue the Marine Hall celebrates its 80th birthday this year.

To mark the momentous anniversary there is a bumper line up of stars, musical acts and events booked for the year ahead

Perrier Award-winning comedian, writer and original star of Grumpy Old Women Jenny Eclair will be joined by fellow recruits Susie Blake (from TV’s Mrs Brown’s Boys and Coronation Street) and actress and singer Kate Robbins (Where The Heart Is and Casualty) in a brand new show Return of the Grumpy Old Women on Saturday April 11.

There will also be two Jongleurs comedy nights on June 26 and October 16. Meanwhile comedian Patrick Monahan will appear on Saturday February 21 with family show Adventures in Monahan Land, following another sell-out run at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival.

BBC Radio 4’s Mark Steel’s in Town is bringing his stand up show for locals - based on what he finds out about the area- on - Wednesday March 18. Highlights will also include the annual Fleetwood Beer and Cider Festival from February 5 -7 and the annual Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival on Sunday August 16.Magic Light Productions’ Little Red Riding Hood is on Wednesday April 1. While The Chuckle Brothers are bringing new show Chuckles of Oz to the venue on Friday 29 May and Basil Brush will be appearing in his Full on Fox Tour on Friday 7 August. By popular demand The Manfreds return on Saturday March 7 and The Searchers are live in concert on Thursday 16 April.
