Inglewhite cheesemakers Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses are gearing up for another exciting show season after scooping a hat-rick of gold awards at the prestigious Royal Bath and West agricultural show.

The fourth generation family cheesemakers impressed expert judges with their Tasty Lancashire and Blacksticks Creamy which both received coveted gold medals.

The Marks & Spencer’s Ravens Oak Goat’s cheese – made by the cheesemakers – also won a retailer gold medal.

Gill Hall, third generation of the cheese making family was at the Somerset show, she said: “We’re delighted with this! The awards have picked out cheese from each of our specialities –the traditional Lancashire cheese, the relatively new Blacksticks range plus our Ravens Oak Goat, which comes from our own herd of goats up in Lancashire.

“We’re also really pleased to have the support of Mark’s & Spencer so its great to be able to win something for them.”
