Disneyland treat: The whole group at Disneyland Paris

St Aidan’s Technology College, Preesall, enjoyed another successful trip to Paris.

A group of 38 pupils. plus Miss Elsey, Miss Seville, Mrs Marshall-Cowling, Mr Nelson and Mr Elwell. spent the half-term break in Paris.

They visited Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre plus the Eiffel Tower, with a fun filled day at Disneyland Paris thrown in for good measure.

Pupil Lauren McGlynn, 13, said: “The view from the Eiffel Tower was beautiful and definitely something I will always remember.

“I also got to try snails, which were disgusting!’

Hannah Alderson, 14, said: “I made new friends and gained wonderful memories from my trip. I would love to go back to Paris again some day’

Kelsey Neelis, 14, added: “I loved Disneyland and learning about the history of Paris.”

John Tawn, 13, said: “Disneyland was amazing. The whole trip helped me feel more independent and I would definitely go back to Paris.”

Amy Ronson, 14, added: “I enjoyed seeing all the amazing sights of Paris, especially the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

“I have learnt a lot about Paris that I didn’t know and made new friends whilst I was there.”

French teacher Joanne Elsey, who organised the trip, said: “The students expressed a superb level of maturity, reliability and enthusiasm and they were an absolute delight to take on holiday. At all times they were true ambassadors for our country, our school and their parents.”
