Pupils from Garstang Academy on their visit to Lodge and Lee Farm and Myerscough College

Pupils swopped the classroom for a trip to the farm for a very hands on lesson in agriculture.

Teachers from Garstang Community Academy took 90 Year 7 geography pupils on a day out to Lodge and Lee Farm at Myerscough College to witness the lambing season.

Pupils were taken on a guided tour of the farm to see the processes of milk production in action before getting up close and personal with some newly-born calves and lambs.
