All hearts: Lauren McGlynn and Amy Ronson deliver a biscuit to Serena Mellor

All hearts: Lauren McGlynn and Amy Ronson deliver a biscuit to Serena Mellor

Students at St Aidan’s Church of England Technology College got that loving feeling on Valentine’s Day and sent their loved ones at heart-shaped biscuits with a personal message iced on it.

Students could also buy biscuits at break time and all the money went to a good cause, The Happy House,Kenya (http://www.childrenofwatamu.net/ )

raising nearly £100.

The Happy House is an orphanage set up former Blackpool hotelier Pat Hayward.

The biscuit sale was the idea of Joanne Rossall, Food Technology teacher, whose form group K7 have been raising money for the charity all year.

Students could order a biscuit with a personal message that was delivered to their valentine in the morning or

buy a plain biscuit at break time.
