FROM the head of Scotland to the foot of England, the Myerscough tractor boys are hitting the road... but they wont be testing the speed limits!

Adventurous Myerscough degree student Mark France, from Pilling, and fellow students Richard Unsworth and Byron Ratcliffe have restored a classic tractor to embark on a charity mission, covering more than 900 miles.

The group hope the epic journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End will raise thousands for the North West Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes.

The machinery management and logistics students will start their journey on the 963 Massey Ferguson 35X Multipower on Sunday and aim to complete the journey, including a drive through Garstang, in eight days.

The trio, have already collected over £2,500 of their £10,000 target and were out in Garstang town centre over the weekend to show off their wheels and boost their fundraising.
