Warning beware the wolf of Ribchester’s Water Street

It is ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ as you’ve never seen it before.

This new pantomime, written and directed by William Thomas especially for his local drama club RATS (Ribchester Amateur Theatrical Society), opens tomorrow (Thursday January 29).

The show, sub-titled ‘The Wolf of Water Street’, continues in Ribchester Village Hall on Friday and Saturday January 30 and 31 and the following week Thursday -Saturday February 5-7 at 7.30pm. There is also a matinee each Saturday at 2pm.

RATS has been staging pantomimes for some 40 years, but society members are eagerly looking forward to this home grown production.

William, 23, has appeared in several pantos, cabarets, revues and plays both for RATS and locally based Ribcaged Productions. He said: “I have got a great and experienced team working with me and the enthusiasm is amazing.”
