EIGHT gymnasts from the Garstang School of Gymnastics competed at the North West Floor and Vault Championship held at Birchwood, Warrington.
As always the gymnastic standard was set at a very high level and the Garstang gymnasts needed to produce their best performances to be in with a change of gaining a medal position - which is just what they did.
Megan Kelsall, Caitlin Poole, Olivia Baxendale, Alison Clarkson, Emma Law, Morgan Moore, Elizabeth Bradley and Amber McAnulty took part, with Morgan Moore receiving two bronze medals in the age 9 competition for her vault and an overall place.
Olivia Baxendale competing in the Intermediate age 11 competition received a gold medal for her floor routine, and Alison Clarkson received a gold medal for her vault.
Emma Law also won a gold medal for her floor routine, a bronze medal for vault and was awarded the gold medal trophy for the North West novice age 12 floor and vault champion.
All the gymnasts achieved personal best scores.
