Manager Paul Bailey was well pleased with his team who carved out a number of chances and won 3-0 against a hard working Pilling side.
“Bails” said: “We scored three very good goals, Tom Graham two and Jack Swindlehurst the other.
“Garstang’s future looks bright with young players like these two in particular in our ranks. “We played around with our system looking at a number of new players. It was a good work out.”
It will be mainly a reserve squad taking on Carnforth Rangers at the Riverside on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
Then on Monday, July 29, Kendal Town are the visitors to the Riverside, kick off 7pm.
On Wednesday, July 31, the reserves take the short trip up the A6 to play Galgate, managed by former Garstang stalwart Richard Wilson.
