Manager Iain Swan did the honours on behalf of the club presenting the cheque to Sarah in front of a very snowy Riverside pitch.

Said a club spokesman: “If ever we can get a game on, we will be at home to Stoneclough next Saturday Kick-off 3pm. The amount of games postponed is becoming a grave concern to us all even though most clubs’ are in the same boat”

Third placed Garstang visit second placed Wyre Villa on 9th February and the club are prepared to put on a small coach for supporters if enough people book beforehand.

It would leave the rear of the Kings Arms at 2.15pm prompt.
