Sunday saw the culmination of a busy week for the golfers of Stonyhurst Park.
Their Masters Competition, the winner of which is presented with a green jacket, was Keith Wiggins with a score of 82-18-64.
The runner-up, Neil Duckworth, had a score of 84-18-66.
The longest drive was achieved by Phil Curran and nearest the pin was Phil Snape.
Earlier the Les Hoole Memorial Trophy was won by Peter Halpin with a score of 84-18-66.
Dan Whalley, a new member, was runner-up with a score of 86-18-68.
The ladies section has been equally busy with two competitions.
Jean Gentry won the Kath Hobbs Trophy, a Stapleford Competition, with a score of 38 points. The runner-up was Carolyn Blockeel with a score of 36 points.
The Dorothy Harrison Texas Scramble, a team of three competition, was won by Ladies’ captain, Audrey Barnes, with ex-captains Janet Halfpenny and Ann Hudson with a score of 54.3 points.
