He will now join a team who are current World Champions. Michael, who attends Preston College has also been named as joint Vice-Captain for the coming season for his county team.
The sport enthusiast, who is trained by his dad Trevor, also plays for Lancashire in the seniors team and now faces the prospect of travelling even further afield across the country or even abroad and with that in mind is looking for sponsors to make his dream a reality.
