This year’s Lytham St George’s Day Festival is set to be a barrel of laughs, with top acts Stewart Francis and Paul Chowdhry announced as its comedy headliners.
The festival, from April 21-24 is set to be the biggest and best yet after raising £50,000 for charity last year.
It will once again take place on Lytham Green.
Stewart and Paul will be heading up the festival’s comedy evening on April 21.
Stewart, whose deadpan delivery and sharp one-liners have won him international recognition, is a familiar face from panel shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Mock the Week, as well as appearing on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
Paul is recognisable as the host of Channel 4’s Stand Up For the Week and has appeared on Live at the Apollo.
The festival will start with the official raising of the flag, which will take place on April 20 and the whole programme for this year’s event is due to be announced shortly.
Tickets for the evening cost £20.00 if purchased before April 1 and all information and how and where to buy tickets can be found at www.stgeorgesdayfestival.com
