Mark Thomas is making a welcome return to The Dukes in Lancaster next Wednesday with his show Trespass.

The mass trespass of Kinder Scout has inspired the latest show.

Combining his usual mix of theatre, stand up, activism and dash of journalism Thomas asks the question: “If the ramblers of the 1930s were here now, what would they do to open up the cities? How do we turn the skyscrapers and corporate squares into our playgrounds?”

Mark’s previous solo shows have always proved popular not only at The Dukes but also nationwide, garnering critical acclaim, snapping up awards and earning commissions to become Radio 4 series.

Live comedy at The Dukes is recommended for anyone aged 16 plus.

Then at Chorley Little Theatre next Thursday it’s the turn of Craig Campbell to take the mic, with his brand new show Don’t Look Down.

You may previously have seen him as the support act on Frankie Boyle’s national tour and the Canadian
comic is a formidable stand-up in his own right, one of the most charismatic and inventive performers around.

He has performed on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Russell Howard’s Good News. He’s also at Kendal and the Lowry in Salford in May.

Box office (Chorley): 01257 264 362.
