Two reindeer have said their festive farewell after a spell staying at a Cabus farm.
Donner and Blitzen have proved a popular draw for youngsters and families visiting Old Holly Farm over the Christmas period.
Donner and Blitzen’s visit marked the end of a successful year for the farm, which saw it win a leading visitor attraction award and feature on a children’s television.
The farm won a silver accolade in the VisitEngland Best Small Visitor Attraction for 2012 category.
And a film crew recorded an episode of children’s show “Something Special” for CBeebies there in August.
The show, featuring children’s favourite Mr Tumble, focused on the farm’s dairy cows.
It was screened last month.
General manager Alison Pye said: “It’s great to be involved with a programme that educates children in a fun way showing the link between cows, milk and ice cream.
“There was a real buzz at the farm and we were all thrilled to be involved.”
