Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind
Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind

There’s a FREE screening of a sci-fi classic in Preston next Thursday... but not before the audience has chosen which one!

City arts organisations They Eat Culture and Future Preston Tours, in collaboration with Deafway, will present an evening of science fiction nostalgia, with sub-titles, at The Continental.

Patrons are being asked to visit the Facebook event page and vote for their favourite.

Places are limited, so email Hannah@theyeatculture.org to confirm.

The film choices are:

Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind (U) – Spielberg’s 1970s epic family adventure follows one man on his search for alien life.

Blade Runner (15) – possibly the most influential 1980s American science fiction movie.

The Terminator (15) - James Cameron’s 1980s time-travelling action classic.
