One of the few original 70s chart bands around – The Rubettes – will visit Marine Hall, Fleetwood on Friday, May 20.

Alan Williams, the original vocalist and guitarist, John Richardson and Mick Clarke, also both original band members on drums and bass guitar respectively, complete this Rubettes line up with Steve Innes Etherington on keyboards and guitar.

Together they will be touring the UK for only the second time since they first took the world by storm when their number one hit Sugar Baby Love topped the charts, selling over 10 million copies.

The upcoming ‘An Evening With’ tour visits 55 theatre venues throughout England, Scotland and Wales and promises something entirely different to a usual concert experience.

All the hits, of which there are many, will naturally be featured plus a selection of songs that hold special significance to the band members, with some album tracks that they have never before performed live.

The Rubettes are performing at Marine Hall, Fleetwood on Friday, May 20 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20, to book call 01253 887693 or visit www.marinehall.co.uk
