The Courteeners roll back into Preston’s 53 Degrees tonight to kick off their new UK tour with a bang.
The Manchester band have made themselves a home from home at the Brook Street venue, playing many sold-out one-off shows there over the years.
Singer Liam Fray even brought his solo show there earlier this year – and it’s a place where their huge and dedicated Manchester fanbase finds it easy to follow their heroes.
Now they are kicking off their new UK tour with tonight’s 16 plus show – and ending it with a triumphant homecoming show at Manchester Arena on Friday, December 13.
However, following incidents at previous shows, the venue and the police are working together to ensure no fans take flares into the gig.
Fans are advised to arrive early to allow for extra security checks.
Tickets are still on sale at £18.50 plus booking fee. Doors open at 7pm.
