Former Animal Eric Burdon will top the bill at this year’s Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Colne.
Elsewhere on the bill of this special 25th anniversary festival are Lucky Peterson, Eric Sardinas, Otis Grand, Mike Sanchez, Andy Fairweather Low, The Yardbirds and Dr Feelgood.
The festival draws crowds from the length and breadth of the UK, as well as Europe and the US, and was last year named Best Festival at the European Blues Awards. Again sponsoring the festival again this year will be Barnfield Construction, East Lancashire Community Rail Partnership, Matthew Clark brewery, Reidys Home of Music and Radio Lancashire.
More than 600 artistes will play over the four day August Bank Holiday weekend.
Festival organiser Alison Goode said: “Every year we cater for all musical tastes and are really excited by the line-up we have already secured.
“This will be an anniversary to remember.”
