A night of club nostalgia comes to Lancashire later this year in the shape of ‘FAC 51: The Hacienda with Happy Mondays’.
For one night only the King George’s Hall in Blackburn will welcome the legendary Madchester band along with five of the best DJs of that era Marshall Jefferson, Graeme Park,
Jon Dasilva, Peter Hook and Herbie Saccani.
The party brings The Hacienda back to Blackburn for the first event in the town since 1991 when FAC 51 used to hold a residency at local club Manhattan Heights.
With the town known as the birthplace of the legendary warehouse party scene in the late 80s and early 90s, Blackburn has consistently supported The Hacienda and the relationship between two is long standing so a great atmosphere is expected.
Happy Mondays headline the night in a rare small venue appearance.
With the band looking to mix up their best known material, album tracks and rarities.
Tickets are £25. See www.kinggeorgeshall.com/ for details.
