Jazz singer Sue Parish returns to Hornby Village Institute on Friday, November 7, bringing three top-class supporting musicians with her.
Sue was chosen as the artist to kick start ‘Jazz in Hornby’ in November 2009 at the Village Institute.
The Lune Valley venue is now well established for hosting high quality jazz concerts.
And by popular demand Sue’s November appearance has become an annual event – this will be her sixth visit.
Her trio will be pianist Paul Kilvington, double bassist Frank Grime and drummer Eryl Roberts, all top names on the NW jazz scene.
Sam Ashton, organiser and promoter said: “Sue tells us this is her favourite gig, and she certainly holds our audience spellbound, so we’re looking forward to seeing and hearing her again.”
Doors and bar open at 7.30pm and music is from 8 pm. Tickets are £10 on the door or are available by telephone on 015242 22227.
