Leighton Hall, near Carnforth, have announced that their outdoor theatre season this summer will feature two of the Bard’s greatest plays.
The Festival Players are to visit the stately home with Romeo and Juliet on June 25, then return with A Midsummer Night’s Dream on July 26.
Both productions are directed by Worcestershire-based Michael Dyer, with music especially written by folk star Johnny Coppin, frontman of 1970s folk-rockers Decameron.
Michael said: “We perform more than 100 shows a year and always love returning to Leighton Hall, as is it without doubt, the perfect setting for a balmy summer’s evening of magic, mirth and music!”
Tickets are £15 adults and £10 children from Leighton Hall on 01524 734474.
