Striking portraits of some familiar faces have been captured by a Lancaster artist for a new exhibition at The Dukes gallery.
Cathy Wilson’s studies of faces are on a large scale created in soft pastel on watercolour paper.
Among the faces featured in the Captured exhibition include awardwinning actor Raph Fiennes.
Cathy has been a practising artist since graduating from Lancaster University in 1997. She’s based at Luneside Studios in the city and has exhibited widely around the north of England. Her work is also in various private and public collections.
Captured runs until September 1. The Dukes gallery is open from 10am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday. Please call the box office on 01524 598500 to check opening times if you’re making a special journey as occasionally the space is closed.
