A highly unusual show about one of the world’s most famous murderers comes to Lancaster Grand Theatre on Saturday night.

Jack the Ripper – A 21st Century Investigation, is the result of an in depth investigation by a retired murder squad detective which throws a whole new light on this age old mystery.

It commemorates the 125th Anniversary of The Whitechapel murders in London that came to be attributed to Jack the Ripper.

Retired murder detective Trevor Marriott has carried out his own protracted cold case re-investigation into all aspects of a mystery which still fascinates.

And he reckons his results will cause many to rethink their
perceptions on this hugely
famous case.

The result is a two hour show in which Marriott talks about and describes his lengthy investigation and discloses the startling results.

There have been more than 100 books published and numerous film and television documentaries. Many have over dramatised and distorted the facts.

The evening here features
pictures from 1888 showing
original crime scene photographs of the victims and the
suspects together with many other original photographs.

Marriott warns: “It should be noted that some of these photographs are of a disturbing and graphic nature which some persons may find disturbing. However adequate notice is given during the show to avoid anyone becoming upset or distressed.”
