An all new adaptation of Sherlock Holmes’ greatest adventure opens at Chorley Little Theatre tonight.
This brand new version of The Hound of the Baskervilles, presented by Chorley Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society, runs until Saturday, bringing the current CADOS season to a fittingly dramatic end.
Written and directed by award-winning Mark Jones, this version of the classic novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle adds a few intriguing modern twists to the tale of the ancestral heir whose life seems threatened by a spectral hound.
Starring David Reid as the great sleuth, Matthew Routledge as bumbling sidekick, Dr Watson, and Martin Clarke as the endangered Sir Henry Baskerville, the play is suitable for ages 14 and over.
Tickets for Monday to Wednesday are £6 while those for Thursday to Saturday are £8 from Malcolm’s Musicland on 01257 264362.
