Builders books gift to school
The homebuilder has provided £300 for the school to invest in new library books, allowing the children to improve their reading skills, alongside several copies of Taylor Wimpey’s children’s book; ‘How we build your home’, featuring Handy Andy and Millie Mortar.
Headteacher Sarah Partington, said: “Reading is such an important part of a child’s development, not only to further their literacy skills, but also to encourage them to use their imagination and think creatively. Having a wide variety of books to choose from will make a huge difference.”
Chloe Dunn, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester said work was due to start in Eaves Green adding: “It’s really important for us to get involved with the community.”
