A FAMILY is desperately trying to find the owners of a lost guinea pig they found near their home in Preston.

Dave Weeks and his family have been looking after the small creature after they found him running around a car park on Marsh Way, Penwortham, on Wednesday.

The Weeks family have been caring for him with food and water in a cardboard box.

Dave also made sure to keep him cosy by giving him an old blanket which belonged to his 15-month-old daughter, Evelyn. Dave has been using social media to try and reunite him with his owner.

He posted that he is a ‘gorgeous, well looked after chap’ who loves cauliflower.

A woman who recently lost two guinea pigs came to get him yesterday to care for him until the owner gets in touch.
