Melvin Patrick Ronald of Whitefield Meadow was due in Preston Magistrate’s Court on December 1 but did not attend.

Mr Ronald’s first two counts were for driving a car down Cuerden Way on November 11 2021 without insurance or a licence. The third and fourth counts were for doing so with cocaine and Benzoylecgonine in his system. He pleaded guilty to these counts on May 13 2022 and was released on bail.

An arrest warant has been issued for Melvin Patrick Ronald from Bamber Bridge, who faces five counts.

For the fifth count, he failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Lancashire Magistrates' Court on June 15, after being released on bail in May, pleading guilty on November 1 2022.

For all counts, a warrant for arrest without bail was granted because he failed to attend, on the basis they were considering disqualification for the first counts, and there was no appearance in answer to bail for the third, fourth and fifth.
