A police spokesman said: "In June last year we launched Operation Westhead - a week of action - to tackle drug dealing in the Chorley area.

"The result of one of the warrants led to the arrest of a local female Sandra Sharrock who was found in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs and a large amount of cash.

"She was in the middle of "bagging up" the drugs when we hit the address.

"Yet again an excellent piece of work by Chorley and South Ribble Neighbourhood Task Force."
