Unqualified Lancashire motorist believed they could drive car due to being 'key worker'

An Audi A4 was pulled over by police after he was spotted travelling with his fog lights on yesterday evening (April 23).
Officers found the motorist was not legally qualified to drive as he had not passed his driving test, and he was unfamiliar with the vehicle.

Hide AdThe driver told police he was a key worker and that he believed this meant he could drive a car.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "The driver of this vehicle was stopped for having his fog lights on.
"He was unfamiliar with his own vehicle because he hadn't passed his driving test but as he was a key worker he believed this allowed him to drive."
Police have confirmed the vehicle was seized and the driver was reported.
