Preston Court: man admits carrying a large knife into LGBT+ nightclub

A 23-year-old man has been charged with carrying a large knife into an LGBT+ nightclub with him.

Nile Base, of Westminster Road, Morecambe, Lancashire, is accused of carrying a large, silver kitchen knife into Generation nightclub, Brock Street, Lancaster, on April 13 of this year.

At a previous hearing at Preston Magistrates Court on May 5, he indicated a plea of guilty.

He has been remanded on conditional bail until his court hearing which will be heard at Preston Magistrates Court on June 2.
