Tumble dryer ignites clothing
An overheated tumble dryer was the cause of a fire at a house in Preston.
Two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended the incident on West Cliff.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus sets and one hose reel to extinguish the fire in the tumble dryer which had ignited clothing inside.
There were no reported injuries. The incident happened at around 7.30pm yesterday.
